Speedo Vanquisher

I wanted to wait 6-months to write a review. You cannot tell if goggles are good unless you have had them a while. I like that they are clear and not tinted, because I swim indoors. The corrective lenses give me vision better than my own glasses, which are multifocal. At first, they kept all of the water out. Now that I have worn them so many times, the rubber is deteriorating, which is normal. The lenses are starting to fog up now, where they never used to. I believe 6 months of a lot of use at this price-point is a very good deal.

As a semi-competitive swimmer, I never knew that goggles with some vision correction could be this inexpensive! These work well, were reasonably priced, and now I can see clearly underwater! Make sure to do a proper calculation of the diopters (vision correction) to ensure you order the right one - there are many websites online that help with this.

Keep making these goggles, Speedo! They fit around my eyes exactly, so I never have any leakage. I like that you include a few bridge sizes that you can snap into place, especially the shortest one, because I have a narrow bridge. They're such a good price for goggles with optical lenses and the -5 is very close to my prescription. I'm always afraid that a company will discontinue the perfect product, because they always do. I buy these frequently, even before I need them, so I'll have a supply if the worst happens.

They were great until the antifog coating fell apart. Should have a big warning not to touch the insides, but even then, I’m not sure they would have survived. Sad. I’ve been buying corrective speedo goggles for many years and have never had this issue.

I can see at the pool without worrying about damaging my expensive eyeglasses. The RX isn't perfectly matched to my eyes, but it's good enough for an hour or two. Very affordable. I just wish they came with a case. All the other speedo goggles I've owned came with a case and these are by far the nicest, so I don't really understand why they don't.
