The dark colours make it cosy and calming, whilst at the same time the numerous sections allow good visibility for dog and owner. A variety of options to open/close it are useful. Took seconds to assemble and to fold flat for storage. Strong carry handles making it easy to carry and pop in and out of the car. If you have a destructive dog then the mesh window-like sections might be a little thin. No mat inside but this allows you to fit your own choice of mat. Great value for money. Fits well on the back seat of the car as well, putting the seat belt across. We have a 10kg Irish Terrier puppy and she just puts unnecessary stress on the fabric at the bottom of the carrier. I think, as she grows bigger, it will only be a matter of time before the seams start breaking. I was expecting something more substantial seeing that it has RAC branding.
