The clock is beautiful but there is no slot or tab to open the clock to insert the battery. I was on the phone with the help desk for 20 minutes before I finally figured out how to open it without doing any damage. Did not come with any mounting hardware so I had to go in search of something that fit. Had to remove the metal plate used to hang it and then expand the hole so it would set all the way down in the metal slot.

It is elegant. Fits perfectly between our kitchen and family room. If you are handy, recommend reworking the back mounting hole. Just remove the little metal plate (easy, 4 little screws), then elongate the wooden screw head clearance hole using a small rat tail file. (This is needed to give a bit more clearance for the mounting screw head when hanging the clock bracket.) Now replace the small plate with the 4 little screws and you’ll be ready to hang the clock securely.

1 mount, no special screw for this special hole? The hole on the back plate has a spring in it? It’s a beautiful piece, I don’t like that it freely swivels. I will spend the rest of my life centering it. It’s a heavy expensive piece held on the wall by one screw I had to find .

It is a very beautiful Clock. Unfortunately it came with no mounting hardware. There a threaded opening for only 1 screw, though I would have to search for a screw to match the thread one end and mounts to the wall on the other end. I wanted to hang this on my porch however I may just return it for a refund.

Classy piece. I was worried based on some reviews that it would move around a swivel easily. It's been great for us. We moved it into the position we wanted and it has stuck there.

For spending what I did for this clock, they could have packaged it much better. I'm not sure if the clock broke during shipping or if it was just poor craftsmanship that the clock arrived as it did. The metal part and the main clock was fine and looks great, but the wood frame was either not glued or just broke apart in shipping. I was very disappointed when I saw the frame like this. In the description, it says it is solid wood, but it isn't. It is compressed sawdust with glue (fake wood) which they made a frame in sections that they didn't even ensure it was put together. I believe there was no quality assurance before this was packaged up and shipped.
