One year ago I was suffering from severe dry eyes to the point where I was pouring saline in my eyes and using a petroleum based ointment to minimize the pain and burning. Over the counter drops only helped for a half hour or so, and doctors were unable to recommend anything else that worked. Then I tried the Eye Gienie mask and wafers and experienced IMMEDIATE relief. It was interesting how after just using it the first time that I could feel that my eyes were more moisturized. From reading about it, I believe that the warmth from the Eye Gienie mask helps to keep the eye gland functioning properly. If the gland is blocked we are deprived of the natural lubricants that our bodies produce. I also noticed after using this product that my eyes tear again after yawning! It was so wonderful to experience this feeling and have immediate results from this product. It's also convenient to use, very relaxing, and doesn't require any messy warm compresses.
