I give this a 4 on durability due to fading. Not complaining that it’s faded but as long as you know that before you buy. My jeep stays parked outside so that’s to be expected. Cover did fade but has not ripped and has held up to several power washes and around 10-15 miles on the highway. My winch is about a year old and have had this on all but about a week or two of its life and this cover keeps my winch looking brand new. Can’t go wrong buying this for a steel cable winch to keep it from rusting and a synthetic cable to protect from sun and rain. Fits perfect on Badlands 12K lb winch. Faded but doing what it’s suppose to. Overall very much pleased with this cover. **UPDATE** As if March 2021 this winch cover finally started to rip. In my opinion for the price you absolutely cannot beat that due to how new my winch looks still. It ripped trying to stretch it back on towards the bottom so it’s still good if I wanted to keep using it. It faded out quickly but that’s no big deal my Jeep stays in the weather year round so it’s to be expected.

Used to cover a Warn 9000lb winch. Pretty much universal fitment. Good material, and long straps. I put winch rope on this Warn and even though it’s suppose to be UV resistant I wanted to protect it. I was concerned it would block air flow through the grill, but, as of yet no worries. If it does it’s seconds to remove. It looks good, well built, and strong material. Glad I got it.

I just installed a new bumper and winch on my Jeep and even though the winch is waterproof I still wanted to protect it from rain and more importantly, direct exposure of the synthetic winch cable to the sun. The material seems durable but we'll have to see how the color holds up. My only complaint is that even though my winch is within the maximum size listed for the cover, getting it on was a bear. The fit is VERY tight. I'm not sure if it'll loosen up over time a bit or not but it's a bit of a hassle to deal with. On the other hand, it probably won't fly off so that's good!

Great cover for less than $10 bucks. Didn’t think I would like it, but hey it was less than ten bucks. Was surprised once I received it. Effective for it’s purpose of protecting from the elements. Easy to put on, right fit to keep from blowing off. Ended up buying a second one for my sons Jeep. You can’t go wrong with this price, but don’t expect a super heavy duty cover. Have had on several months now with no issues. Well spent money.

Had it for 3 years and had to replace it due to worn out. Other than that it worked. Kept everything dry.

I have the smittybuilt XRC GEN 3 winch and it fits perfectly. Tight when putting it on, but I have reached 80’s on the highway and no problems with it. Cover doesn't move, and it is lined in the interior so it is UV resistant. It wears out somewhat quickly in the sun, although it does a pretty good job of holding up. Expect about a year to a year and a half of use before it gets too sun damaged. While this may seem bad, it beats any other winch cover as the price is very good. The elastic band that stretches around the winch holds up well too. A must buy if you have synthetic rope (it will prolong the life). Also keeps the winch very clean and keeps the dust and water out. It is water resistant to a point, doesn’t completely repel but drops don't sink through instantly.

Item was difficult to fit on wench and difficult to remove when necessary and definitely not "UV resistant". The item began to fade after only a couple of months and continued until it was no longer black but a very light grey. It became very brittle and would rip very easily when touched. The item lasted about a year and is water resistant until it starts to fall apart. Prior to this cover I had a neoprene cover which basically did the same thing however it lasted 3 years before the sun and weather destroyed it. This cover might last longer if covered with a tarp or kept in a building away from the weather and sun when stored.

Fit my winch and decent for the price.

I use this on my 9500 Smittybilt, fits perfectly and doesn't blow off. A lot tougher than I thought it would be. I'd recommend it.
