The one that can do it all and then some.
before i say anything, i will start with saying that my review is for the main kukri, no the two small knives, which are cute but not really effective. i will also say that the sheath is...well...functionalish. the belt loop is a bit too thin to take much abuse on a belt, especially given how heavy this thing is. Also, when you hang it off a belt it tends to flop around a bit too much. The handle also sticks up around your armpit(or at least it did on me). Its a stiff draw, but that's to be expected, but can be changed up by inserting or removing the two small knives. There's also a small loop at the end of the scabbard that would probably tear off if you tried to use it as anything other than decoration. overall, if i had to give the sheath a rating, it'd be a 2.5 or 3 at the best. Now, on to the good stuff! The kukri is HUGE. That's the best way to describe it. The handle is long and robust. The blade is thick, wide, and beefy. The guard is thick and robust. EVERYTHING is well built and well fitted, and designed to do one thing: WORK. this is a tool designed to do whatever it is you ask it to and then some. I also feel like i should point out that you can tell this is hand made because of the small imperfections. the back of the guard is around two millimeters out of alignment, for one. i'll mention the other's i find in the review, but those are just nitpicks, not me criticizing, simply pointing them out.Starting at the handle. the handle slabs are solid wood, nicely stained. the slabs are checkered, not aggressively but they provide a nice, firm grip. it's got 4 pins holding the scales on, and its all solid. no wiggle, no gaps, all flush fit. the tang itself is also slightly tapered, which is a good thing on a blade this big. the grip is definitely suited better to people(like myself) with larger hands, but can be managed just find by people with smaller hands. and if you want to fit it yourself, all you need is sandpaper and some files. there's a small lanyard hole, but its big enough to squeeze a piece of para-cord through. the pommel could have done with a bit more of a bird's head, but no complaints. i';s also long enough you get great leverage when chopping. moving on to the guard, it's solid, simple, and effective. the bottom of it has a cut-out that allows it to fit on top of the hand, which is nice. the guard itself is slightly asymmetrical, and the grinding on the bottom of it is a bit rough, but nothing that will cause any irritation or hot spots. it's also thick enough that you'd need either a greatsword or a lightsaber to get through it.Now, on to the blade. the finger choil is a bit too angular, and the point where it comes into the bottom of the blade had a fairly sharp point that can give your finger a nasty poke if you aren't careful, but is long enough that it's not too big an issue. the blade has a very pronounced distal taper(thank god) that really kicks in at the angle of the blade, which makes it really lively in the hand for such a heavy blade. The fullers are all well ground and symmetrical, though if you look REALLY close you can see small imperfections, but you have to really look. As to the cutting ability...damn. 1.5-2 inch branches, done. not much effort required. if you catch anything less than two inches in the sweet spot of the blade you're through in one cut, generally speaking. bigger branches are done with in two or maybe three cuts. i didnt have anything bigger than 4 inches to cut, but got through it in 3 good cuts. i should also point out that most of this was done in 40 degree weather, so it added a bit more of a challenge to it. the point, which not built for thrusting, does so beautifully. it align perfectly with the wrist for the thrust. it'll punch through most things you will run across, as the tip tapers very nicely along the spine.the point of balance is about 3 inches in front of the guard, which surprised me, but in a pleasant way. as you'd expect, its a front heavy chopper and handles that way, but is much quicker than you'd expect. what really surprised me was that you CAN one hand it, provided you grip it below the upper pins. it's not as lively, but that's to be expected. it came sharp, not shaving sharp, but working sharp. the edge held up well and didn't chip, roll, or dent, and didn't make much to get it right back to factory sharp.all in all, this thing is well made, well balanced, and will go through anything you put in front of it. fit and finish are excellent, handling is great, functionality is perfect, and will definitely stand up to whatever life may throw at you, no matter where you are or what you're doing. and to top it all off, it got from nepal to the pacific north west in less than two weeks, ten days if you want to be specific. the sheath is very meh but the rest of it...superb.

Great quality and beautiful!
I have wielded smaller blades in combat and have a decent amount of experience when it comes to edged weapons. This is a beautiful blade and is made for heavy use/work. Quality workmanship that is built to last. There was an issue that occurred during shipping that caused a small crack in the wood at the end of the handle but is nothing that I can't easily fix myself. I will definitely be ordering more blades from this company in the future!

My favorite blade I own!
Wow! What an amazing blade. Even came with a free 6inch mini kukri along with the two small blades.Top quality, I will always use this company in the future, they are as honorable as the Gurkhas that work for them.

The blade is sharp but bowed!!!!!
I like the sword but the blade is bowed and is hard to get in and out of the scabbard. I reached out to the seller about the problem but received no response.
