A Great Option to Look Nice
For what they are, these shoes are great. These are faux-suede shoes with a burnished toe cap--which doesn't really make sense, since suede cannot be burnished (as far as I know). But they work here. They are plain-toe derbies with some broguing along the seams, so, although they are dress shoes, this style is on the casual side. Like the faux suede, much of everything else on them are cosmetic--this includes the stitches around the midsole (which mimics a Goodyear-welt stitching) and the markings on the heel block that mimic stacked leather (although it's only a slab of rubber). There are even holes on the bottom of the heel to mimic nails, although there are no nails holding the heel in place. These shoes are meant to look good, but they're not going to have actual great construction. With that said, you should know that's what you're paying for--a pair of shoes that look good, especially from afar, but they're not an investment. They have a great silhouette to them, and they're so slim that if you didn't look closely at the lacing system, you would think they're Oxfords. They even have a gentleman's notch on the heel, so the designers really put some thought and effort to make them look as good as possible. The outsole is a textured (but flat) rubber, and they're thin enough that they seem to mimic the tactile sense of leather--you can feel the bumps on the ground you're walking on. However, everything feels sturdy. Some fast-fashion shoes are paper-thin. But the materials on these shoes have weight to them and feel durable. They felt comfortable out of the box and required no break-in period of any kind. I could walk miles in them at a time without any problems. I bought these in my sneaker size, and they fit just fine at first. But after a while, they started to loosen up a bit and feel a little big. I would go with your dress shoe size (which is typically a size down from your sneaker size) for a good fit.The description says that these shoes are waterproof, but I haven't had a chance to test that out yet.If you need a dress shoe for the office, or even for smart casual wear, and you don't want to invest in something too pricey, these are a great option. They look very nice and are comfortable. These won't be shoes that you'll keep around for years and years of regular wearing, but they are great for what they are.

Love em!
I am impressed so far.I can see a lot of thought has gone into these shoes. There are so many different materials and textures used and they blend so well together with real stitching everywhere. They really are as the maker intended...Look and feel high end at an affordable price. The faux wood print on the soles is a little tacky. It adds a little depth from a distance but it’s the only thing that really gives away the fact that these are “cheap” shoes. The laces are a bit long but I knotted mine and cut off the extra length. These are lightweight. Mine are 14.8 oz (yes I weighed them :) They’ve broken in quickly ( with in 1 day of use) They don’t squeak and are rather comfortable as the insole has a bit of cushion. I walk around 5,000 steps a day in these and they don’t hurt or bother me in any way. They have creased a bit in the front toe area, but so do most shoes that are this flexible.I believe these are vegan or at least not made with any animal products.I’m 5’10” 175lbs and normally wear size 9.5 shoes. I found these to be a half size too big. I tried 9.5 first then returned them for size 9. So I would suggest ordering 1/2 size down. They are a Chinese based company but they’re returns and customer service is great especially with Amazon Prime.I have no affiliation or other reason to write this review, other than the fact they were kind enough to send a replacement pair of shoes because I felt there was a small defect.I found there is a small split in the back, inner, top side of the sole, right were the stitching starts and ends. Hardly noticeable, but I was concerned that they were going to tear or break. *Picture attached*Upon inspection of the new pair they sent (as a free warranty replacement), I found the same exact split. It must be part of the manufacturing process. The split hasn’t gotten any bigger with use, but I’ve only worn them for a 12 days so far.I may report back at a later time (if I remember to).

Noise when walking but good comfy shoes.
Overall good shoes. However, no matter what you do, they make strange noises when walking in them. Might be embarrassing…..
