Leatt X-Frame Knee Braces

I purchased a pair of new Medium X-frame braces in February 2020. I used them a couple times for day trips with no real issues, but then I spent a week on my motorcycle in the backcountry, riding 8 or so hours a day. Within a few days, I noticed the hooks on the Velcro straps were coming off. After a week, the Velcro straps had lost all or almost all the hooks and would no longer stay on my legs. See photos.I called customer service at Leatt during their business hours on and got a message saying what their hours were and then nothing for a minute or so, and then a chance to leave a message but the mailbox was full. I sent an email on Monday (this is Thursday) and there has been no response. Two more calls to their customer service again went to the full mailbox, and then I finally was able to leave a message. I don’t expect them to respond. I sent another email this morning, and I doubt I will get a response to that either. Maybe they will surprise me. Likely this is the only Leatt purchase I will ever make. I am going to try to return these braces and will purchase another brand. Don’t buy Leatt.Update 06/15/2020: I received a call from a Leatt manager late last week in response to the voice mail I was finally able to leave. She requested photos, and I told her that I had already sent in emails with photos. She looked in their system and stated that they had received my email and photos. She told me the company would be in contact. Since then, there have been no more word from Leatt and no response to my emails. Still not impressed. If their warranty department is that busy, doesn’t that tell you something?Update 07/07/2020: I received a set of replacement straps in the mail yesterday. They appear to be the same type cheap Velcro straps that failed initially. For the price of these knee braces, they could spend more than $2.00 on the straps. Seriously, I will never buy Leatt again.

Very happy with these X frame Knee braces, Size M, used the chart to get the correct size.They are very light, and low profile which is a good thing, the black plastic is very strong, no flex in the midde section and the knee cap guard is good too. stays put. Being so light they dont fall down once adjusted and put on correctly. The boots and the included socks hold them in place very well. The socks privided are great, dont get hot and are nice to wear, better than my FOX kneebrace socks,Took maybe an hour or two riding and some filldling to get the straps just right, Nice to ride in, not very thick on the inner knee, can still "Feel" the bike and grip well with the knees when needed. And suprisingly the foam used in the inside sections agains the leg dosn't absorb sweat or mostiure, So they dont stay wet and stink after a ride, just give a hose off and dry really quickly, Easy to take care of. Recomend, am very happy with these.

These were a game changer for me. I've had double knee surgeries and I can still ride with confidence in these braces. They can tend to rub a little at the corners but I am happy to wear the scars from the braces over blowing out a knee any day. Wearing some knee brace socks with a brace sleeve underneath solves this problem. I also wear a larger sleeves over top of the brace to keep any straps from coming loose or snagging on my pants. I will say the fabric layer on the foam inner pads has started to peel off after just three uses but that's not a huge deal for me. The important part of stability still functions fine.

Work very very well!! Took a good spill and not a scratch on my knee but a hole in the pants and a gash in the brace.

These are amazing. They’re a bit bulky which you would want in a knee protection product, but then when you’re riding you can’t feel anything but support. The only thing is the Velcro straps could be a bit better. But you just have to be a bit gentle taking them off. Other than that, they’re perfect

The braces fit well,protection is good, Velcro straps are terrible bottom line.

Profile was too low. Did not cover my entire knee joint. I've had asterisks, evs and a lot of them. This was the least coverage.

Got these for my husband and they saved his knee the very 1st time he wore them!
