Comfort plus toughness
These are my second pair of Ariat boots, and this pair is even better than the first. I inspect construction jobsites and I need comfortable yet tough boots. These definitely fit the bill!

Dragon scale/skin is peeling <1 month
Love these boots. Quality on the skin is ok. Owned for less than a month and the toebox is already tearing apart. The upper (calf) is nice and thick, causing comfort and extra protection for whatever you may be doing. Have gotten a plethora of compliments on these at work, only complaint is the quality of the "black dragon skin". They're pretty comfy, broke in within the first week. If you wear these casually and not for work, they may last you longer.

Bad ass boot
Hurts like an ass when you first start wearing them A lot of compression around the tops of your feet that make it intolerable once you break them in they're a really comfortable and durable boot They also fit rather nice Not too heavy either So far they're holding up too Just slip them on and enjoy a shoe that only takes 4 seconds to put on and get that 200$ worth

Boot size
They run big. I wear a 9.5 shoe. I went down to 8.5. definitely do not hesitate to size down!

Sizing
Very nice boots however the seem to run larger than other Ariat boots. I always wear a 8D but in these, half size down maybe better .My left boot in a 8D was actually perfect but the right boot was a lot bigger felt more like 8.5 or 9.0 and wide. Amazon was nice enough to let me return them because i could not wear these at work because of the right boot being so much bigger. Bought then on sale so I will wait until they come back on and try 7.5D.
