But no, they are really well made and impressive, quite heavy at about 3kg apiece, but solid as a rock. the bars are very comfortable and immediately give confidence that you are not going to topple them over unless you actually push them outwards with vigour or go for it big time. i chose the tall version which are less transportable but give plenty of room under your feet when moving through. the metal plates are 3mm steel sections and the rails are some 4cm across the top and 5cm deep shaped as shown in the pictures. From cars to fitness equipment. These pbars take some time to get use to the grib. But apart from that yeah they're very stable and perform planches ,handstand push ups.
