Many incense sticks are full of chemical additives and ingredients I don't want to expose myself to. I bought both the sweetgrass and the sage. They look a bit smaller in diameter than other commercial incense brands but I found they burned well and did not give out an overpowering scent. I used a bundle sage to sage outdoors once time and my husband coming in from work said he could smell it from his car windows driving down the street to the house. LOL So these do the job without offending your neighbor's sense of smell. Happy clearing!

Unlike anything else. Very glad I could get it on line when my local new age shop stopped carrying it. NOT cheap, but beautiful, long lasting fragrance and the ash is very clean. Also, most incense makes me sneeze but not this one. It DOES have a tendency to go out, so you have to make sure it is well lit and not even a tiny bit damp, but that's about all the bad I can say about it.

This is the best incense I have ever used in my life. Everything from Juniper Ridge is outstanding. Nothing compares. The smoke is just so much more real and fresh smelling and it doesn't have that generic thick perfumy incense smell that almost all brands have. It just smells like you're burning a real braid of sweetgrass. I do agree with some of the reviews in which they used to have a slightly stronger sweetgrass scent and be thicker and burn longer but even with that, they're still fantastic as heck and I hope they never stop producing this.

The good: Mellow, sweet and smoky, this slow-burning incense is just as described. Not overpowering, and the campfire scent definitely transports me to a different place as I recall many nights spent around a bonfire. Arrived surprisingly quick (with standard shipping, even.) The bad: If you're expecting the funky little cylindrical package, as pictured in the product description, you may find yourself disappointed; these incense arrived in nothing more than a paper sleeve (although on a bright note, perhaps more environmentally friendly. ) An otherwise 5-star rating, I deduct 1 not for the product itself, but for the misleading photo. Even so, 10/10 would purchase again. And most likely will, once I burn through these. Which is another good point. They last longer (and smell better) than the cheap incense you can buy at the gas station, so even though they're a bit steep at $12/20 sticks... Price = quality. And they are quality incense.

Of all the incense fragrances, this one is my very favorite and it’s smells incredibly expensive when it’s being burned.

Disappointed at the cedar smell and not sweetgrass. Very thin and unsubstantiated, over all not worth it

I love the scent, but the product is too expensive. At 65 cents a stick, you expect more than skinny incense that consistently stops burning. The only reason I'd consider buying it again is that I love sweetgrass, and its incense is hard to come by. I'd really like to know why they charge 4 times the average, even high quality, handmade incense isn't this spendy..

Juniper Ridge has one of the cleanest incenses out there. There is no stinky perfumes or oils. It is simply the beautiful scent of the tree or herb. When you pull out a stick and try to smell it, there is very little scent because it hasn't been soaked in scents. So when it burns, it burns clean and fresh and authentic. I love the sweetgrass because it reminds me of the sweetgrass that grew vociferously in South Dakota. But I also love the cedar and pinon. It is the incense I will buy first.

Both boxes we purchased would not stay lit after lighting. We tried re lighting numerous times but they kept going out. For this price we were very disappointed with the quality. Too bad because the scent was lively..if it burned

The scent of this incense is really lovely, sweet and light and not cloying like too many. I use it in my therapy room for helping to cleanse the energy and because it smells wonderful! It's perfect for this because the ingredients are completely natural and harvested from the wild and therefore it is worth the price. I have no issues with the burning, burns very well. Excellent service from Carter and Bond.
