This introduces you to feminism at a base level and builds up, covering the male gaze, privilege, and most importantly a lot of self help to make you ‘the love of your own life’. Everyone I know who has read this book takes something different from it as it calls for a lot of self reflection. This has really helped me, forcing me to look at people in my life (who I knew were toxic anyway, just needed this to kick me up the ass) and past experiences differently. Since buying this I’ve started actively making changes in my life and I feel better already. For anyone dealing with breakups, daily misogynists, bad friends or just wants to love themselves a bit more (which we should), this book is a MUST HAVE!
