### ⭐⭐⭐

I love that these do not have the added coconut oil ...

I bought both this brand and the other coconut wraps by Julian Bakery to do a comparison. I love that these do not have the added coconut oil like the JB ones; however, these are strangely much greasier! They get more grease on my hands when I roll them. Also, these have added salt and the JB ones don't, which I don't care about as a saltoholic, but others may. I can't tell a difference with taste, so will probably purchase whichever one is cheaper. If they are the same price, though, I will go for the less greasy ones by JB -- purely a tactile preference!

Two Great Products. One Slightly Better Than the Other.

*by L***X on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 21, 2015*

This review is for Julian Bakery Paleo Wraps AND Pure Wraps, Paleo Coconut Wraps. These are competing companies who produce an almost identical product. I wasn't sure which to buy and so I decided to invest in both and pick which one tasted best and works best for my needs. The review that I am posting here is for both products and each ad page is getting the exact same review - although my star rating for Julian Bakery Paleo wraps if 4 stars as opposed to 5 stars for the Pure Wraps, Paleo Coconut Wraps.http://amazon.com/gp/product/B00EPTYHGA?ref_=cm_cr-mr-titlehttp://amazon.com/Wraps-Paleo-Coconut-Original-Flavor/dp/B00N26M4L2/ref=sr_1_1?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1434929738&sr=1-1&keywords=pure+wraps+paleo+coconut+wrapsBottom Line, I liked both products but I liked Pure Wraps, Paleo Coconut Wraps better. Here is a compare/contrast rundown on both products:1. FUNCTIONALITY: Both companies produce a serviceable wrap - low in carbs, low in calories, they arrived fresh and in one piece, they hold together and don't break apart, they are flexible so that when you roll them up around the filling, everything is stable and the filling is secure. This is a really great feature for both products.2. FLAVOR. The taste is both products is similar to each other but totally different from any tortilla or flatbread product that you have ever tried. There is a VERY strong coconut flavor, so if you don't like coconut, you should either pass these by, or you should plan to wrap them around fillings that are so strongly flavored that the coconut is drowned out. I like coconut so this is no problem for me. The biggest flavor difference between the two is that the Julian Bakery Paleo Wraps are salt free and the Pure Wraps are seasoned with Himalayan Pink Salt (a healthy, mineral rich salt choice). This makes Pure Wraps perfect for savory meals, while the Julian Bakery Paleo Wraps are great as a dessert wrap. Filling one of the Julian Wraps with fresh strawberries and whipped coconut cream creates a yummy dessert that will satisfy those who miss desserts. Just add stevia and vanilla and you have something that will surely satisfy folks with a sweet tooth! I like the Pure Wraps best, but there is a place for both in my kitchen.{FYI: The Julian wraps are also available in Tumeric flavor, so they might have a better taste to people who don't like coconut. I haven't tried the Tumeric though so I cannot comment on if they are good or not.}3. TEXTURE. The texture of both products is exactly the same. Have you ever had fruit leather? That is what these are like - except the mouth feel is a bit different because the don't taste at all like fruit leather.4. HEALTH. Outside-the-box products like this exist because of special dietary needs and that makes the health properties of these wraps very important. The ingredient list for both products is almost identical, and with the exception of the Himalayan salt in the Pure Wraps and the extra coconut oil in the Julians they are pretty much the same product. There are some discrepancies with the Nutrition Facts listed on the packages and I can't account for this considering that the ingredients are almost identical. The Julian Wraps claim to have 70 calories and 6 grams of carbs per wrap, while the Pure Wraps boast only 60 calories but 8 grams of carbs per wrap - making them 2 grams higher than the Julian's in carbs. Both are Gluten Free, both are vegan. The Julians have EVCO in their ingredient list giving each Julian wrap 5 grams of fat, as opposed to the Pure Wraps - with no added oil - at 2.5 grams of fat per wrap (the coconut in the Pure Wraps brings it's own fat, so even without added fat it still does have some. Each Julian contains 45 calories in fat while each Pure Wrap contains 25 calories in fat. In addition to this, the Pure Wraps advertise that their product is vegan, gluten free, RAW AND ALKALINE.5. COST: Being specialty items, both products are relatively expensive. Since prices are constantly fluctuation, this section might not be incredibly helpful, but at the time of my purchase, the Julians came in a package of 7 wraps for $10.99 (3.5 oz per package of 7), while the Pure Wraps came in TWO PACKAGES OF 4 EACH for $12.49 (1.98 oz per package of 4 OR 3.96 oz total per package of 8). That works out to $1.57 per Julian and $1.56 per Pure Wrap. The Pure Wraps win this one on 2 counts - they are slightly less expensive AND they come in TWO sealed bags of 4 each meaning that they stay fresher longer. Both products dry out pretty quickly so the idea of sealing them in bags of 4 really helps the wraps to last longer - giving you more bang for your buck.So there it is folks! Two great products. My personal favorite it the Pure Wraps, but I also like the Julians. I am giving the Pure Wraps 5 stars because they have a better flavor, are less expensive, packaged in a freshness-preserving two bags, and they are Raw, Vegan and Alkaline. Julians get 4 stars because they don't taste quite as good (although the sweeter flavor lends itself to desserts), they are slightly more expensive, packaged in one large bag that dries the product out once opened, AND because my past experiences with Julian Bakery's quality control and poor customer service makes me trust this company a bit less. All the same I really do like the Julian Wraps. And I LOVE the Pure Wraps.

### ⭐⭐

    I enjoyed the mild

*by C***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 24, 2017*

I used these to wrap up a bratwurst, hoping to keep my fingers clean and find some satisfaction due to not being able to grain products. I enjoyed the mild, sweet slighty coconutty flavor. I did not like the very oily wraps that made it a pretty messy eating experience. I could have accepted that, but the wraps had a kind of slimy mouth feel, were difficult to rip through with my teeth, and had a rubbery texture while chewing.
