No mess
I was so tired of the regular litter sand, this makes my life so much easier. No clumping, doesn’t get stuck on the paws, does not smell. It lasts a long time.

Does not smell and almost eliminates litter box chore
I used to use clumping cat litter, which had to be cleaned immediately to avoid a stink, and had an unpleasant perfume smell that did nothing to disguise it. Can leave this alone for a week, until the pine has disintegrated to sawdust (that’s how long takes for my cat). Just remove solid matter. No smell at all. At all! Could probably leave awhile longer even after it has turned completely to sawdust (so long as has not become really damp), but then the cat starts tracking sawdust on floor, which I don’t like. The used litter dumps right into a trash bag without leaving anything sticking to the sides of the litter box, so no need for liners. This has taken all the unpleasantness of dealing with a litter box away. And cat not ingesting the equivalent of cement when licks his paws. Great product, worth every cent.

Best cat litter ever!
I add a small amount of pellets to my cat's box, and each day I remove and flush the solids. If a few pellets are stuck to the solids, it's not a concern since they dissolve in the toilet. I then shake the box to loosen the sawdust created when the cat pees in the box. I pour the contents of the box into the trash. The sawdust adequately neutralizes any odor until the trash is disposed of at the end of the work day. As a bonus, the used litter can be composted for use on ornamental plants.

Pine pellet litter -- best for puppy house training
This litter is marketed for cats, but I used it as a house training aid for a new puppy. The litter is easy to use, has less dust than I expected, and works very well. The bag size was also easy to handle.I have never used a litter pan for a dog or puppy before. The breeder started placing the pan of pine pellets in the enclosure with the growing litter, and they learned quickly to use it.The litter seems to absorb the liquid without producing an unpleasant odor. I was able to scoop to save litter. Solid waste must be removed ASAP.I would have given this litter 5 stars except that you can get this product for pennies on the dollar at a feed store, where it is often sold as floor covering for stock enclosures.

Great Replacement for Feline Fresh
I was using feline fresh pine litter for almost two years and i loved it, but suddenly it stopped production. i had seen this litter around but never got it since i already had my litter but once i didn’t have the litter, i got this one. i love this kind of litter. it’s nonclumping but still neutralizes urine and fecal odors. my cat also loves it too.it’s so much easier to clean this kind of litter than clumping litter. the litter is also easy to clean when it gets outside the box (my cat likes to fight litter mats so i can’t have one, even with how low tracking this litter is, some of the dust and pellets go into my room). you just gotta sweep a pellet here and there and vacuum the area maybe every couple weeks or month. sometimes my cat plays with the pellets when a single one is out of the box so that’s cute, kinda weird, maybe gross, but still cute. also i mentioned that it has dust but it’s just the dissolved pellets; the product itself has a very, very low amount of dust (nearly undetectable except when you dump the whole box upside down).it’s also super light weight and lasts for a good amount of time. i have one cat so i use a bag each month. definitely worth the price, i highly recommend this kind of litter for kitties !!

Way over priced for size of bag
These bags are ridiculously tiny. Amazon will not accept returns on this, so purchase at your own peril. But DO NOT buy the 7lb bags for this price. You can get a $20 bag for less than $15 at a local pet store chain.

The best I've found.
This litter is great and does the best job on preventing odor of any litter I have used. The pine pellets are absorbent and break down over time into sawdust as it's used. It's annoying to clean. It's not clumping litter and can't be scooped with the typical scooper. I use small tongs and put the solids in a small bag and dispose. The solids can be dropped into the toilet, but I would be careful that no pellets come along with them. The pellets can clog the toilet. Given all of that, I still think this litter, in the pellet form, not the ground form, is the best and is worth the inconvenience.

Cheap, effective, compostable if you have hot-compost
It absorbs well and neutralizes urine odour well (until it gets to be time to change it out). One caveat, it does NOT neutralize poop odour, so if your cats and pooping in it you'll need to scoop it ASAP.What happened in my household is I have two litterboxes, one with this kind and one with a more traditional clumping kind (the walnut shells), and the cats have decided they like this kind for peeing in and the clumbing one for pooping in.It's also nice to not have to throw out a large volume of clay or whatever - when it gets used up I just toss this in the compost. Note you will want to have a LARGE compost pile if you are going to do this, so that it gets hot enough to kill any microorganisms. That's what I have, and the sawdust (that's what this turns into when it's time to change it out) is actually a great substrate for the 'green' compost ingredients.
