Love and hate about it
Let's start with the hate; huge logo on the side that is mostly used for map reading; wish they placed it on the inside that is not mostly used; but I was able to scratch off the logo with a tooth pick. Loved that you can fold it three different ways; loved the neck strap and all the other loops; loved that it came in bright yellow.; love that I can fit a map, compass, dry erase marks, pencils, and my phone at the same time; it has plenty of room. I would buy it again if I needed to.

Great product, even better customer service
This product worked great for a race I was using it it. At one point though I tipped my canoe and it was just sitting at the bottom of the canoe instead of in a bag or around my neck. Now its sitting at the bottom of the lake.I called customer care and they offered me great coupon off for my next order and also seriously took my advice on adding some sort of floaty to the product so it will float. They seemed to be interested in my feedback. In the mean time, Im going to buy another one and just but a little keychain floaty thing that I can add to it :)

... there ain't NUTIN' worse than a wet map if yer lost...
Face it... if you are a serious hiker/camper, and you are out in the WOODS!... you probably have got zero bars, or a dead battery if you are lost. So you whip out your trusty map (you did bring one, Right?) to find your location and it starts to rain...Well you are totally okay with that because you have your map, your UTM map tool and Suunto compass in a waterproof case in your pack! You find your location, shoot a bearing, find the trail and are home before kickoff....This case works and it works well and if you have a grease pencil, you can even draw lines and write on it. Way Cool...

Great for Motorcycle long distance touring in all kinds of weather!
We are long distance motorcycle touring/adventure riders. We ride in all kinds of weather. These Aqua Quest waterproof map covers are great to strap on our tank bags. They are clear on both sides and that allows us to just flip over to the other side to continue on our long distance travels. We ride 250 to 500 miles a day. These are definitely waterproof and they are the finest quality of any made out there on the market. You get what you pay for. Quality and workmanship count with us. We will get many years of use out of this product. We are very Happy Campers!

Excellent map case
I used to do a lot of adventure racing and appreciate a good map case. The seal is easier than most to close and the visibility is great but time will tell how well the case weathers. I wish it was just a hair bigger but it fits a B size map well enough and doesn't hide a bunch of the map edges like other cases do.

Great design and well-made
Great product. Waterproof, sturdy, well-designed. What more could you ask for? This accompanies me on every hike along with a map of the area I am in and it works great!

Useful water proof map case
Great having two transparent sides - one for the map the other for route descriptions, etc... Can be folded simply in half as needed or rolled up. Velcro fasteners work well but can be tough to open at times!

Wrong color, annoying logo placement
Received Orange, not Yellow. I hadn't noticed when I ordered but there's a brand logo printed on one side of one clear panel. It's shown in the images so they're not trying to deceive anyone. Not sure why you'd cover up a portion of the area you want to look at something through. I could live with the wrong color but seeing that big black logo on my map would just annoy me every time I looked at it so returned it. Otherwise it seems like it would have been a decent map pocket.

robust map case, good value
Keeps the maps dry and works perfectly well. Need a bit of map folding practice and need to use it a few more times to allow the case to bend/fold flatter. When the case is folded down it gapes as the anchor loops are in the middle of the fold so the two outer sides that are velcroed together pull away. I’ll get a large plastic paper clip (likely to lose it).Took me a while to pick the most suitable cover for our needs and agree with the reviews for this one.Colour is nice and bright.... for now

Ok, but that logo does my head in
Ok - it’s a good map case BUT whichever marketing muppet designed the plastic cover with the logo on the transparent bit needs a kick up the backside. Managed to remove the logo with sticky stuff remover but the plastic has gone all cloudy. Have you ever seen a BMW windscreen with “BMW” right across the middle of it - no, because it’s (a) illegal and (b) stupid! Marketing man - take a look at yourself in your mirror - unless of course you cannot as you’ve got logo’s all over it, rendering its use as a mirror USELESS!!! I mean, come on guys, what are you thinking about?

Great design and features
Only 4 stars for now -not used it in heavy rain. Wanted this for the ziplock in addition to the Velcro. Velcro-only have leaked on me. Good visible area for OS maps. Got rid of the Aqua Quest logo using a Q-Tip dipped in white spirit. The logo obscures part of the map. Not worried about the nylon ripstop border causing blind spots by having the map slip behind them as the viewable area is large enough. Just waiting for heavy rain...:-)

Well made and versatilee
Well made product that can be used in many different orientations and therefore displayed map sizes.Much more expensive than rival map cases, but of a much higher quality.Drops a star because it lacks Velcro in some key places. It does have Velcro to hold it folded into thirds, but not if it is halved for example, nor to swap from one side out to the other. And as someone else pointed out, why on earth put logo/text marking on the transparent bit ???

I used it as a mapcase on a front bar ...
I used it as a mapcase on a front bar bag. It was nearly ideal, certainly waterproof and spacious without being too bulky. For bike use the largeish black logo gets in the way of reading the whole map, this is to do with the velcro arrangement on the bag. It wasn't a major problem. The material seems unlikely to cloud, unlike a famous German make.
