Do these need to be refrigerated or frozen?

They do not have to be refrigerated or frozen but doing so will definitely extend their life. The product is received and stored frozen until it is shipped out. If you choose to freeze the product upon receipt, it can be kept for several more months.

There is no expiration date on any of the packaging. How do I know how old these are, or when they will become unsafe to eat?

Hi, The product is brought in fresh weekly direct. They are not dated by the manufacturer, but are safe to consume upon receipt. We recommend refrigerating the pies to extend their life. The pies are also freezable. The pies are brought in fresh for the week's orders so you are guaranteed the best possible product anywhere. If your pies do not taste satisfactory, message the seller and simply state "Received pies, please refund" and a full refund will be issued. Or if you want a replacement, just message the seller "received pies, please reship another" and it will be done within 24 hours or less. Every single customer is valued and appreciated.

They tasted so good! I was surprised that they are shipped frozen & by the time they get to the customer they're ready to eat! They also include directions for heating? Crust was amazing & they were a great value for the money!

Stale expectations…

The first time I ordered these pies from Amazon I found them to be delicious. When I saw 3 dozen of the same pies on sale on TikTok, I ordered them again. All 3 dozen this time were horrible. The delicate sugary crust that was so delicious the first round was melted. They were awful. This my third time, I ordered them from Amazon. The pies were good enough my first order that I risked trying again. Another bad experience. The outer sugar is melted into the crust again. This item is not returnable. My last purchase of this product for certain. Quality is not their priority.
