what can i say? The kids love it. i love it. very nostalgic and i hear they work great for panic attacks. was fresh and well packaged and taste just like i remembered. actually maybe more sour. great price.

I DON'T love super sour candies, BUT that makes these perfect for keeping on hand to help head off an anxiety attack. I read somewhere that a sour "punch" can jolt your senses when your body is starting to panic physically. Your brain focuses on the extreme sourness and can distract from the other senses that are getting overwhelmed. Thought it was worth a try, and they do seem to help while waiting for my anxiety meds to kick in! The sour is an immediate distraction from my chilled and shaking hands and pounding heart. Definitely a quick, fleeting fix, but often enough to ground me for a few minutes while the pill kicks in. I tested several "super sour" candies, and these have the best punch of the ones I tried. The lemon are the sourest. If you already love sour flavors though, these probably won't help much. I'm told by my sour-loving kid that these "aren't even top 10 sour." So in summary, candy is NOT a substitute for prescription anxiety meds, but can be helpful for immediate, brief relief while meds start to help.

If you want extreme sour, this candy delivers. There are five flavors of hard candy that are individually wrapped and coated in a powder (citric acid/alum?). So the first experience is the almost bitter sourness. Once you get through the sourness, you have the sweet hard candy. This candy is dry and not sticky until you get it wet. I enjoyed the quality but the amount of candies in a bag are fairly few, like a dozen or a few more. If I ordered this product again, I would look for a larger bag.

If you can eat a lemon, you'll love these. Sour! Sour! Sour! My granddaughter had me order them for her. I tried one. Nope!!!! Not for adults😂. Great for kids
