I like the look and layout of the Hobonichi cousin but didn't want to make such a grand purchase if I don't stick with it, I have a bad habit of buying planners and never using them. The planner seems to be pretty good quality. There is some ghosting with the fine point markers I used and a little bleed through from one brand. The paper feels like its coated, kinda slick but not in a bad way, its very smooth, no bumps. It's undated so missing a week, or month, is no big deal. This was important to me because of my history of being inconsistent. The clear cover and Kraft paper exterior leave plenty of room for personalization.
