The material is surprisingly tough to cut even with a sharp Exacto knife. I recommend you not do this in the sun as that softens the material and causes it to bunch up when making a long cut causing the film to stretch and lift off of the surface you want to cover. If you go slow and stay out of the sun you can do it but you need to be patient and press it in the cracks with a squeegee then cut a little, then stretch and cut some more. Watch the corners as they will pull the material away from the surface you are covering. Will I do this again to another vehicle? YES. Am I glad it's done? YES.
