Does need a heavy-duty bucket, I've been using an old oil bucket I had sitting around. Fits any standard five-gallon bucket but Home Depot, Lowes and Harbor Freight buckets just are not sturdy enough (I have not tried the doubling up of buckets method yet though). Great investment for your shop! Currently mine is attached to my CNC machine but easily moved around and used for all my tools. Comes with everything needed to connect to a 2inch shop vac, purchased an adaptor kit for my smaller vacs and I was dust free in minutes, again, while saving my filters!
