I’ve had other batteries, but this one is pretty bad ass. Charges up it doesn’t get hot and at last a long time on my 12 Pro Max. Finally a product worth having. Definitely an upgrade.

The battery works great, and the tools were very helpful. The only thing missing is a flat head screwdriver. But I was able to find one. Thank you for putting this package together.

Had to redo my review. After rating 5 stars the battery worked fine at first and charged fine but after couple weeks battery started to stay at one percent and then started to turn my phone on and off by itself. And started to display a negative for battery health, found out it was the battery after having to reinstall my old battery that has 70% health and that maintained charge as well as charges but doesn’t last long do to health. Lesson learned never throw away your old battery,

I’m in my 60’s. I remember popping the back off the phone and slipping the new battery in…at the most maybe unscrewing a couple of screws to get the back off. Yep…I know the phones are far more advanced, but I figured I probably only had to unscrew a few screws. If I had bothered to take my iPhone out of the protector that it’s been in since I bought it, I’d have realized this was not the case…or if I had googled how to replace the battery! Or if I’d thought about the fact that it was water resistant so there would most likely be more involved. I didn’t really pay much attention to the tools it showed coming with the replacement battery. I simply didn’t look at what I was ordering well enough. Being retired, I’m on a fixed income. I don’t know anyone who can put this battery in my phone. So now I have a much needed battery, with no way to install it. I can’t chance screwing up my phone by attempting it myself. I can’t afford a new phone at the moment. So unfortunately, I guess I’m stuck having to pay for it to be replaced. Since it was totally my fault for ordering something I’m unable to install, I gave it 4 stars. I didn’t give it five because I don’t know of it included everything needed to do the replacement or how good the battery is.

Obtained this iPhone 12 Pro Max battery replacement for my old iPhone 12 Pro Max that I am fixing back up! It was smashed completely and before it was smashed, the battery was already overheating and providing issue for me - so while I fix it up I figured I should go ahead and replace the battery too. This product came packed well and included all the tools I needed to swap it out with the old battery. Installation was a little tricky - it's mechanics! - but I was able to get it swapped out and reinstalled. I also replaced the front window and back glass for the phone as well as the control unit for the wireless charging, volume, and power. It's a completely new phone now. Works GREAT. Battery is NOT overheating and functions perfectly. I was going to get $300 for a trade in for the phone - but seeing as how well it works now, my daughter upgraded from her iPhone XR. Great Value for the money and time it took!

The battery started not lasting a whole day and the battery settings screen told me the battery was pooched. It's been eight years, so no complaints, that was a good long run for the original battery.I'm used to taking things apart and getting them put back together with no pieces left over. If you've never done that before then you might want to start with something less fiddly, but this is definitely doable. Watch a few YouTube videos to walk through it mentally and see what you're getting into. The tool kit is nice to have but I have a full set of pro-grade drivers and spudgers and such, but probably enough to get the job done if you don't already have tools for this small-scale stuff. Battery works great; not sure how long it will last but if it lasts a year that's all I need and I have no reason it wouldn't go just fine for three or four.

I haven't installed these yet, but since I'm a professional in the field of tech and especially phone repair; I can tell you that I'm a good judge of the kit itself. As for the battery replacement, its fairly straightforward and is absolutely nothing like installing a new screen. Its very easy. Pop the screen off, unscrew the plate, change batteries, and reverse order. So the tricky part is the seal, if you want to waterproof it... you'll need to take the screen off.Back to the kit- this includes everything in a sealed plastic pouch. There's no question marks about what it's all for, the battery isn't in some loose box that'll be punctured - its sturdy.The tools themselves are disposable, but you may get a few uses out of them if you don't strip the tips when taking apart the phone. You cannot put any hard pressure during the installation, these electronics are sensitive and one slip may damage a tether, cord, or the board itself.This is a great kit for any beginner to fit into their tech repair adventure. I know the size of an 8+, and I'll be changing one out soonish.. so it looks though it'll fit, I'm not worried about that. The kit is absolutely one of the more professional ones I've seen.
