We got the ivory/beige color. It arrived in excellent condition and very quickly the corners relaxed to lie flat on the floor. It compliments our mid-century dining set. At this price point it makes for a budget-friendly refresh. I looked at many rugs online before deciding on this one. I saw rugs that looked like the same pattern and pile height in the same size for 2 or 3 times the price of this one. The photos were taken in the evening so that might affect how the color looks on the photo. The color is even and as-represented on Amazon - there are no splotches as might appear in some parts of the photo. The rug is a true ivory/ beige color.

Love the rug! Super soft, looks just as described. When you first lay it down it won’t be flat, give it some time maybe a day and it will be laying flat. There’s a little bit of a smell but it went away just as it says on the instructions they pack it with. Not sure about stains yet but the reason I got is because my dog had accidents on my previous rug and it was destroyed as I wasn’t able to clean it thoroughly. This one seems easier to clean so I hope it holds up to that standard.

This is my first time purchasing a rug with Amazon and it said this was available for free returns. I am not happy with the size of the rug and need to size up to a 5x7. The ivory color is also too light and white for what I need in my space. Unfortunately, I return it via Whole Foods, which is how I return all things Amazon. I have to purchase a rug box in order to return this and take it to the UPS store and because of that, I won't be purchasing anymore rugs on Amazon. It's too risky when trying to color match the aesthetics of my space. If the rug was delivered to me in a box, I could reuse the box to send it back, but it was shipped to me in only the clear plastic wrap with no box.As for the rug itself, I don't love it quite as much as other reviewers, but it's a decent rug.

I needed a new rug for my living room and I had the worst time deciding. I looked online on target, wayfair, all modern, overstock and of course Amazon. I must have read 100+ reviews, that's not exaggerating. I really wanted wool, but a lot of people complained that they shed so much. Then I thought maybe cotton, but I've heard of them rolling and being a trip hazard. My boyfriend has terrible allergies so I went with a polypropylene rug. I was getting frustrated at not finding what I wanted in the size I wanted, so I settled for 8x10 since 9x12 was too big. When the rug arrived, it was really well packaged, it was perfect upon opening, one end was a little more wrinkled than the other and I put that end under the couch. It does have a new plastic smell, but it's not overwhelming, we have two month old couches from ikea and they still have a new smell to them so it's not a big deal. The only thing I did notice is that upon fluffing it with my hands, it left a residue on them, which I immediately washed. I kind of expected it, because I read a couple reviews that stated (not on this particular rug) that there was a residue. So I'm not sure what it is exactly but I am choosing to ignore it. The rug looks great and I'm keeping it. Maybe it's sizing, so the rug loops maintain their shape or part of the plastic in the rug...I don't know, but we're exposed to chemicals all the time and maybe any poly rug would have that residue, I'm sure they are all made similarly. My next rug is for my room and it's going to be wool. Hope this helps. I'm going to do another review to report on how it holds up.

This is my second time purchasing a safavieh shag rug because I know how durable they are! And this particular shag rug is the cheapest they have at the moment. Makes my basement area so much cozier!

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered the 8 ft by 8 ft square for very specific reason only to find out I'm shorted 4 in on each side but I still paid for an 8 ft by 8 ft square!!!! Not cool at all. If it's 7'8 by 7'8 then just say that in the ad as this was very misleading. The carpet is good and the quality is as expected. And if anyone from the business responds to this, don't try to say the carpet will spread after unboxing. It's not going to gain four square inches it'll gain an inch to an inch and a half tops.

I have been searching for the perfect rug for a long time now. I wanted something that was simple/modern, soft and reasonably priced. This rug fits all of those needs. The ivory has a slight gray tone which I like since that is my color scheme. All the other ivory rugs I found had a yellowish or stark white tone which I did not like. The rug is super soft and looks more expensive than it is. The border/edge looks a little on the cheap side and that is the only negative I could find about this rug. It lays flat and I have had no issues with it curling up. I wanted a wool rug but I could not deal with the shedding. This rug does not shed and has a wool type look to it.
