Weak triple-O rope adjuster link fails 176lbs/80kg test
Update 10/23/2020It has been a week since I received requested replacement part and installed them. The swing can support my weight and therefore passed test for use by our kid. I'm pleased with the purchase overall. Just keep in mind that the installation must be carried out by a handy person and after installation it must be reasonably tested as well to its advertised limits.Update 10/12/2020I contacted the DreamGYM directly the same day I installed and tested the swing. They replied the same day providing me with the official lab test certificate indicating that the swing can withstand a lot more than stated load in the manual. Apparently, the swing I got had a defective triple-O rope adjuster link. They are sending a few replacement adjuster and I will update if any new finding are going to come up. The lesson here for us, the consumers, is to test the equipment because various parts come from different suppliers and there can be defective parts. I would strongly recommend to revise design of the triple-O adjuster and make it stronger. This triple-O link is manufactured from cast-iron and this is very tricky process that can produce structurally inconsistent results.-------------It was easy to install it. But the swing failed the normal load test. I weigh 172-176lbs on average. After the installation I did two tests: First was simply a few pull ups on the pull bar - and it passed - the bar felt sturdy and secure. Then I attached the swing with the wooden bar and plastic rings and tried to support myself by holding onto the green plastic rings. The second I lifted my feet off the floor one of the triple-O links snapped (see attached photos). The product specifications claim that the swing can support up to 220lbs/100kg which should come with certain safety margin (a standard practice in design and manufacturing). For the record, the included carabiners are clearly marked as 5/16-inch gauge rated at 240lb. The steel 2-inch rings attached to the straps that go onto the pull bar are not marked but appear to be 3/16-inch gauge welded rings. The triple-O links do not have any marked labels on them and they appear to be thinner than 3/16-inch and they are cast-iron. These triple-O links are the weakest link in the swing construction.I will contact the company for replacement triple-O links, perhaps a beefier version if they have it, but I believe all their products that use the same triple-O link and rated at 220lbs should be recalled by the manufacturer. Also, I will try to acquire a trusted 3rd-party replacement for the triple-O links at local hardware stores. If all these attempts to fix the flawed product fall through this item will go back to the seller.

Measure your frame!
My daughter loves this! My only issue is that it did not fit any of my standard door frames. That is my fault for not measuring and assuming the description was correct. We ended up putting it on a pocket door frame and it worked fantastic, just not where we would have preferred to install.
