My boys (my husband and my eight year old son) both LOVE this boat! It's so fun to run up to the lake and zip it around for a while. Battery life is decent... You get about 10-15 minutes runtime (thankfully the lake is close by!). The remote lets you know when you're starting to run low on battery so you can bring it to shore. And the boat surprisingly goes pretty fast! We're going to order a second battery so we can spend more time at the lake each time! I would definitely recommend this RC boat if you're looking for something fast & fun, yet affordable. After reading some of the other reviews, I think an important thing to know is that once the battery is charged, the boat HAS GOT TO BE IN THE WATER in order to function!! If you turn it on outside of the water, it will be beep constantly at you as if it were malfunctioning. It needs water to work! Review: Great choice - We were the life of the lake! Bought these for my husband and 8 year old son. They had a blast and so did everyone watching. They are super fast, easy to maneuver and can dive under water. The self righting feature is the best. They have a really far distancing ability and let you know when the battery is getting low. I wish the battery lasted longer but with the low cost of the boats I didn't mind buying more batteries. Great buy. ## Features - 2 BATTERIES - DOUBLE THE JOY: This Skater RC Boat comes with 2 Rechargeable 7.4V 1100mAH Li-ion battery, provides the running time up to 25+ minutes. Play Longer! And the 2.4Ghz marine radio control system supports multiple rc boats to race synchronously. - CAPSIZE RECOVERY FEATURES: Self-Righting function gets the racing boat back to the game quickly while the boat is capsizing due to crashes and waves. Say goodbye to lost boats and hello to worry-free fun! - OUT OF RANGE & LOW BATTERY ALARM: No need to worry about the battery power or out of control range, the controller will give you a heads up when the boat is running out of power. - IDEAL GIFTS FOR ADULTS: The Skater high-speed RC boat is one of the coolest boat toy Great gift for adults of holiday and occasions, pools, lakes and outdoor. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0F1MTN7Z1 | | Additional Features | Remote Controlled | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #352,775 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #264 in Remote- & App-Controlled Boats | | Brand Name | Cheerwing | | Color | Black+orange | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 1,049 Reviews | | Included Components | Battery, Boat, Charger, Propeller, Remote Contoller | | Item Dimensions | 13.58 x 3.74 x 3.54 inches | | Item Highlight | Fast Boat for Kids and Adults, for Lakes and Pools, Self-Righting | | Manufacturer | UDIRC | | Manufacturer Part Number | UDI001-BLACK&ORANGE | | Manufacturer recommended age | 16 years and up | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | UDI001-SKATER | | Number of Batteries | 2 Nonstandard Battery batteries required. Great buy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Initial start up/run instructions, not shown. *by C***G on May 28, 2020* This is not mentioned in the instructions... BOAT MUST BE IN WATER TO RUN. IF YOU TRY TO OPERATE BOAT DRY/NOT IN WATER, IT will not run. Boat must be wet, there is a sensor on the bottom rear of the boat, that senses water. I wonder how many were returned claiming no power ? Other than that it is a good boat for the $$$$$$$, using mine as a retriever/rescue boat for my other r/c boats. Another nice feature is that there is a slip-on rubber nose piece, great for pushing my other boats or bumping off things protecting the nose/bow of this boat. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/741305107-skater-rc-boat-25km-h-high-speed-racing-remote-control](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/741305107-skater-rc-boat-25km-h-high-speed-racing-remote-control) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
