Canary Seed / Alpiste 5lb

This product is amazing!! I have heard many good things before I got it and I did a lot research. After my surgery I could not go back to my normal weight, and I was getting very frustrated, so I was trying anything and everything. Now it is over a month that I have being using the canary seed water/milk and I lost already 4 pounds!!! But you have to take as they say: drink one glass first thing in the morning and another before bed time! I am supper happy with it!

Canary Seed/Alpiste for human consumption is really difficult to find in the US. This is an excellent choice for pure Alpiste Milk.Canary Seed has many benefits. it's a great dietary supplement:Antioxidant activity: A study in 2004 found that canary seed has antioxidant activity close to that of vitamin C. Plant sterols and certain esters of caffeic acid (which is unrelated to caffeine) may contribute to canary seed's antioxidant activity.Protein and amino acids: Canary seed has 9 grams of protein per 5 tablespoon serving (measured dry). This is 18% of the US Recommended Daily Allowance. Analysis of canary seed protein found proportionately high levels of arginine, tryptophan and phenylalanine. Canary seed appears to have considerably more arginine than most grains-falling closer to quinoa, amaranth and some legumes-and a low ratio of lysine to arginine.Iron. Canary seed is a good source of iron, providing 3 mg per 5 tablespoon serving (measured dry). This is 18% of the US Recommended Daily Allowance.Digestion and nutrient absorption: Many people, notably the Raw Foodists, believe that eating enzyme-rich foods promotes digestion and health. The next morning remove all the water and place all the canary seeds in a blender, add three glasses of water, strain the alpiste and serve the milk water. Repeat the process each day.

Very good, would recommend

I was VERY pleased to find these. My prior vendor claims she was using only alpiste for human consumption, but I started seeing OTHER seeds in the mix, including what appeared to be cut branches and stems. This was clean all the way through each batch. Please keep it that way, and keep it "for human consumption" so I can refer others here as I've already done. Thank you.

It it Alpiste/Canary Seed; but why is there no markings? Nothing to say fit for human consumption? Makes me wonder what's up with that.

Not working for health

The product was delivered very fast and the product is of good quality although the packaging is quite generic. I paper brochure of where the grain comes from or how is was grown will help the consumer know more about grain.

Awesome stuff that is safe for human consumption! This stuff is crucial for the Diabetes diet (My mom bought it for this purpose)! Great product for life.
