There are many people that have said they've bought aftermarket belts for their Honda and they make a squeaking sound so they go back to OEM belt but I took my chances with the good reviews on this one and there is NO squeaking sound or any noise at all. Not under the hood or in the cabin. It's just as quiet as the original. My original was 16 years old and had 143k miles on it so it was time to replace it.
