Caldwell Deadshot Shooting Rest with Front and Rear Rests, Water Resistant, for Range, Shooting, and Hunting

This is a quality bag set with solid material & stitching, glad I didnt get a cheapo knockoff one. I picked the fillable set, and like someone else said : use deer corn /rice or wood pellet cat litter like I did so it doesnt weigh a ton. You can dump it out at the end if the season for compact storage. For the folks who cant figure out the velcro filling flaps and how to fill them with a funnel ... are you SURE you should be handling firearms ? Ive always preferred simple sandbags versus all the over complicated contraptions and rests . This is a good set that delivers results 👍

The Theory of Unexpected Consequences after reading many reviews of this rest I decided to order the unfilled bags and fill them myself when they arrived . Many different types of material ,were listed in reviews, to fill these bags with . I decided upon kitty litter and purchased 2- 10 lb. bags at Walmart of the cheapest clay based litter they carried . It was $1.30 a bag. Very inexpensive . Used an extra funnel we had on hand to fill them . Took about 30 min to completely fill them. I would pour in the kitty litter until it reached the top, then gently tap the bag on the concrete until it settled in the bag. repeated this until it wouldn't settle any more and the bag was full. in the end there was about 2-3 inches of kitty litter remaining in the second bag, which I gave to a neighbor that has a cat. Took the bags to the range and they work perfectly. They don't move around, they stay put on the bench, and they provide a very solid rest for my rifle. The quality on these is excellent and I expect them to last for years and years. The problem is now I have an extra 20 lbs. to carry out to the firing line every tine I go shooting. I thought about getting a cart as I have seen these before at the range. But I'm not really a cart type of guy , so I got a large range bag to carry it all. Caldwell makes an excellent product of good quality material and I highly recommend them. Just be careful of the material you decide upon to fill them with because of the extra weight you will have to carry around.

Good quality and is working out well.

This rear bag has very good construction, of canvas-like nylon, with enough weight to be steady, but not so heavy as to be a burden to carry. No visual "straining" or weaknesses in stitching, or leakage of filler material, which appears to be ground corncob. Held the toe of my rifle stock securely and allowed small elevation adjustments by squeezing. My bag appeared to be "over-stuffed" with filler, very rigid, and had a rounded bottom, making it wobbly. Removing a little filler flattened it out, and easier to squeeze. A good improvement would be to have a suede leather or rubber bottom, to help flatten it out, and prevent any slippage on a bench, as well as protecting from abrasion. If I ever need another bag, I would get another, and recommend this to others.

You have to fill it yourself, I used cat litter, was cheap and one little bag did the job

I cut off a plastic bottle and used it as a funnel to fill both bags with sand. The brick masons working on a nearby project told me to help myself, and the sand was nice and dry -- so flowed right into the bags. Personally, I like the feel sand provides in a shooting bag -- provides a very stable platform. No complaints at all about the bag quality, and no issues with leaking sand from either of the two bags.
