Works as advertised. I wanted a scraper that had the side pieces so I could stand on one and scrape the other boot. Since my outdoor is a brick walkway, I can't attach the scraper to anything, so I needed the flaps. Very glad I bought this.

Installed this on my gazebo and it works great. I recommend attaching with the screws, as it moves around too much without. It's sturdy and I expect it will last years. The refuse does accumulate inside the cavity and the only way I've been able to clean it out is with an air blower (no big deal). I also bought the wide one and it's barely wide enough for my size 12 regular width shoes/boots.

This works well, but took a star off only because the side step plates come off unless you attach the whole thing to a plank of wood. I don't want to do that, but I keep it off of the porch to keep the dirt from falling over it. Scrapes off boots well, but cant tighten the screws tight enough to keep a side plate from falling off when used on uneven ground. I would still definitely buy again, but don't like the hassle of the step plates not staying put.

I didn’t realize how much dirt I was dragging into my house until I got this boot brush. This thing just sits on the ground, and you literally kick or slide your shoes through it — that’s it. No bending down, no grabbing a handheld brush, no excuses. The bristles are stiff enough to knock off dried mud, gravel, grass, and whatever mystery debris I track home (I work in a hospital environment, so keeping floors clean matters to me). I’ve used it on work boots, sneakers, and even my yard shoes, and it handles all of them without falling over or sliding around. Installation was simple — you can leave it freestanding, but I secured mine down so it doesn’t budge. Now it’s basically my home’s first line of defense. Quick swipe in and out and the mess stays outside where it belongs. If you’re tired of sweeping up dirt you didn’t invite inside, this is one of those small purchases that makes a big difference. Practical, durable, and oddly satisfying to use.

Works as it should on cleaning my boots, it's a little tight, but works great.

I would give five stars but I wish it had more of a brush for the bottom. The side brushes are awesome and do a thorough job cleaning. This would be so much better with more of a surface brush for cleaning the bottom of shoes and boots.
