I have tried every version of valerian and this is the ONLY one that helps me fall asleep especially upon waking in the middle of the night.

I'm not a valerian connoisseur but this seems to do the trick; furthermore I've noticed that if you transfer these capsules to a daily pill organizer, after a couple days the disgusting valerian smell actually mellows to a nice herbal sweetness. I'm not sure if powder capsules would do that but I'm afraid to try for fear of ruining them; these seem to retain their potency after the smell fades, maybe (or maybe not) because they're solid. If they come back I'll buy more.

I was hopeful when I ordered this to help me sleep but it did not really do anything for me. Disappointing.

This product really works. Some days I have a hard time sleeping and this product relaxes me and I can sleep throughout the night. The best thing is I don't wake up groggy. This product is amazing for people like me that can't take any night medication or other sleeping pills because it messes up my nervous system.
