Would be better if waterproof. - Used these in a 2500 mile ride. They stay attached better than I expected they might. While they do provide a rain cover these would be much better (imo) if they were waterproof or water resistant. Well-made and fit right on top of the Aluminum cases. But be aware that only one bag is expandable, the other one is not.
