Particularly the black case?** A: I have the black case. No mine does not collect lint. **Q: Can I use it without the magnets?** A: Yes. They are just to give you a place to attach the Remote to. **Q: Can I use an AirTag in one of the magnet slots?** A: Nope, the magnet slots are too small. I did not use the metal backer for magnetic use. It’s a matte black finish and feels premium in my hand. The faux carbon fibre details are a nice touch. The remote still rocks a little back and forth when placed on a flat surface, but far less than before. All buttons are easily accessible.
