The New Herpotherm - Electronic Lipstick Against Cold Sores & Fever Blisters - No Chemicals or Cream

Been using this for years now. Can’t recommend it enough. Yes, there’s a momentaneous sting of pain, but it pays off by sparing days of going through the blister usual lifecycle - it also prevents my outbreaks from turning ugly. I usually apply it over the blisters 4x a day over 3 days.

This little device has changed my life! I have suffered on and off with cold sores since I was 13 and I never get just one at a time I usually have a cluster of three.I've tried every cream/patch and steroid medication offered but the cold sore would still develop and last for up to two weeks! I ordered this and was skeptical that it wouldn't work but it actually does. As soon as I feel the tingling start of a cold sore I use this and it stops it developing and even if I miss this and the skin is red and sore I still use it and it shortens the life of the cold sore.The downside is that is can be painful as it is very hot but for only 2/3 seconds so that is worth it for me to get rid of my col sore.

I’ve no idea how good/bad it is as all the instructions are in German !!!!!! I can only hope I don’t get a cold sore any time soon as I’ll have to get a German/English dictionary. Not good.

Wow! After suffering the dread of coldsores for years and trying all manner of different things, this has quite literally saved me! Yes, it gets hot but only for a few seconds and you know it's working. It's small enough to keep in my bag so I always have it on me and can blast a coldsore as soon as it starts to appear. Normally I can get rid of it before it appears properly but you can even use this on the blisters so I never end up with that hideous weeping and crusty cornflakes on my face! I have recommended this to everyone but they were out of stock for a while. So pleased they're back to save others! Thank you Herpotherm!

I get multiple coldsores on my lips and inside my nose since childhood and nothing has really helped. I have had my lipstick for over a year and have used it multiple times. One two occasions I used lipstick when I had the first tingle and it didn't come up - which has never happened with any other product. Also, it speeded up the healing of my cold sores from around 14 day to 8/9. I'm delighted! Very easy to use - just press the button whilst touching the coldsore, it beeps, then seconds latter it beeps again and you remove it. It does sting a little. I recommend sterile wipes after each application.

I was very disappointed in this product, not only does it hurt like hell (it get extremely hot) it didnt help. So I get a burnt cold sore that comes out just as bad. I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.

This is further to my previous review. Still works, and has proved the most reliable and effective treatment I have tried. Catch it quickly it prevents outbreak and even later, it gets rid of itching. Hope mine continues to work. Relieved to see if I’d still available. I’d certainly buy another
