Almost 400 pages of mediocre emptiness
Maybe this book was necessary in Anna Kennedy's career, but it definitely isn't necessary for anyone else. I tried to force myself to write a sum-up of each chapter while reading, and this revealed very difficult: the author is diluting information in so many layers of useless filling that finding content is an ordeal. If you want to read 400 pages of sentences like: "If engaging into marketing feels like reaching for the moon, think of it more like getting into orbit", then go for it, this book is just for you...I was in need for a dense, actionable manual and found an airy blablabla whose main goal seems to convince that business development is complex... and that you might need Anna's services as a consultant maybe?I read one book per week, we are in June already, and this is by very, very far the worst reading I had this year.
