Works way better than all other products I've tried
Great product, easy to apply, works great, little pricey but way cheaper than replacing the top, will buy again and again, also just a small amount was needed to cover the top on my solstice.

Makes great improvement.
Made a huge improvement on my 9 year old canvas top. The bottle gave me enough for two coats, which I applied with a sponge brush. Still had a little bit left over.

Changed from Tan to Black on my C5 Corvette.....
I have nothing to lose, my wife didn't like the tan top and wanted to switch to black, after researching getting a new black top ($300 used and much more for new that's if I install) I looked at Protex World Convertible Soft Top Canvas Restorer Black to see if I could just use this. I had already deep cleaned the top really well so it was stain free and looking great, my wife still wanted black. I purchased one quart of Black.I did three coats of black, I let the 1st coat dry for 3 hours then applied second, that dried over night, third coat went on the next night. results speak for themselves see before and after pictures. The corvette top was very easy to work with and tape off, I loosened the top handles slide newspaper under seals and used old towels on truck portion, taped off windows and used a cheap brush (if I had to do it again I'd get a nicer brush bristles came off here and there had to pick them off) and started in the center of the top and work your way to front and sides. The first coat the top was loose (my thought was maybe being loose the fabric would soak in more color), the second and third coat I tightened as if I were to drive it.If I had to do it again I would have ordered the package dye and sealer and save $5.00, so now sometime before I get it out of storage I need to order up the sealer.I used three coats with one quart container and still have some left over.So in short, you can not see any Tan fabric at all, this is a summer car (3rd car along with a motorcycle), so the top should be down most of the time, if however I need to touch up or put another coat on I will, this will save me hundreds of dollars, just my thoughts.

terrible finish, do not use it
I followed the instructions carefully: shook the bottle for about one minute, poured some into a clean plastic cup, and applied it using a new 1-inch paintbrush. After just two minutes, I noticed lumps forming in the liquid. I discarded it, cleaned everything, and tried again with another 30 ml — but the same issue happened.Despite proceeding with the application, the canvas only developed a very pale coloration, far from the rich finish I expected. For context, the fabric had been cleaned the night before using dishwashing liquid and thoroughly rinsed, and it was completely dry at the time of application.I'm wondering if the product was expired or degraded. I’d appreciate any insight from the manufacturer or other users — I’d really like to understand what went wrong.

You need at least two bottles
I purchased one bottle to do the top on my two-door BMW and it was not enough. I was able to stretch it out to cover the entire roof, But... While the improvement was considerable, I could see splotchy patches and wear the coverage was uneven. I bought a second bottle and that even everything out. My top doesn't look quite new but still quite nice. I'll will give it a few more days to be sure it's thoroughly dry and see if a third bottle will seal the deal. The seller recommends using two bottles, by the way, and has a better price when you buy a two-pack.

It’s ok
Used it on convertible top. It lasted about 3 months before it started fading again. I’m in Florida and it was summer. Northern folks might have better luck.

This works wonderfully!
I have a black convertible beetle with a 14 year old canvas top. Though I have kept it under roof for most of its life, It started to look a little tired and started leaking (actually, it would soak up rain like a sponge). I watched videos on this product and decided to buy. I bought two 500ml bottles, which covered the top nicely with a little left over for touch-ups. If you have a larger top than a beetle, you will need to buy another bottle to cover. I had to use gloves because it looks and feels like an ink. However, when I cleaned up afterward, it washed off with soap and water. All of my seams and one place I had to repair with twine stained well and looks like a new top. I am still in the process of sealing it with the waterproofer product. I will post photos when I am completely finished.

Excellent Product!
Made my 2004 mustang convertible top look new. Super easy to apply. Did 3 coats and only used half the bottle. Check out the before and after shots.
