functions properly
It functions well, exactly like it should. I'm not sure it is very durable because it had a dent in it when it arrived, but it was easily pushed back out. We use it for a night lamp for our corn snake and it generates just the right amount of heat. The size is perfect for a 20 gallon tank.

Controls are backwards
We have 3 other dome lights from different brands and this one is the only one that the on position is the opposite direction. BUT at least with this one it is marked, in contrast to the others. It's holding up well for our 100w Ceramic heater in our Ball Python enclosure. We have no issues with stability and especially with how little it costs, worth it. (It's the one in the front, not the back in the photo)
