I’ll start by saying this: I’m extremely picky when it comes to billiards and equipment. I’ve been around the game my whole life, and I know cues...from the $50 sticks you can grab at Walmart to rare, high-end cues priced in the thousands.When my Ray Speed cue arrived, I inspected it inch by inch. For the ~$160 I paid, it offers excellent value, especially considering it comes with a carbon fiber shaft. For any beginner to intermediate player, this cue is more than enough to put you on the right path.The packaging was solid, the dimensions and weight were accurate, and the overall build quality was better than I expected at this price point. The carbon fiber shaft is well-made, though not quite on the level of big names like Predator or Cuetec. Still, the craftsmanship and materials are impressive given the cost and bundled accessories.That said, I did end up returning mine due to a few small defects I couldn’t overlook. To the average player, they probably wouldn’t have been noticeable, but I’m detail-oriented and particular about my equipment, even though it was a gift for my wife.What really stood out, though, was Ray Speed’s customer service. From start to finish, their support was top-notch, and I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again if another one of their products caught my eye knowing that they offer such great support.

My pool cues from Ray Speed are quite nice quality cues and on top of that very distinctive colors as well so far it's been comfortable to play with and worth to enjoy for the value of the price of the sticks the durability so far I just been playing with it for a week and it held its standards pretty well that's for the accuracy the straightness is on point as long I keep practicing I'll get better at making it even straighter when I shoot overall the looks are impressive of their ideas of their creators.... Shooting with accuracy which I'm getting better at this carbon fiber is great from average players to as far as you want to go

* RAY SPEED Carbon Fiber Pool Cue Stick 12.5mm Rainbow Tip Low Deflection Pool Stick with Uni-loc Pin Joint and Extension *I've been wanting to try a carbon fiber cue stick for some time, so when this RAY SPEED became available, I jumped on it. I'm a 77-year-old "average" player who plays 3-4 days a week at our local Senior Center. I've used this cue 12-15 games and I like it very much. It's marked as 20oz however my kitchen spice scale shows it to be 20.9oz. I didn't see a section on the listing that allowed you to specify 17, 18, 19, 20 or 21oz. I normally use a 20oz stick, so this will work for me. It is a very solidly built, good-looking, straight-shooting cue stick. I had zero miscues despite the tip being brand new. (I usually have 1-2 a session.) It shoots straight and I actually had a better than normal session. I haven't tried the "extension" at this point. The case was a HUGE surprise. Simple, but very high quality with a hard outer shell to protect the cue. All in all, I rate this cue stick as an excellent value for your investment and highly recommend.60-DAY UPDATE, 9/02/25: I've been using this cue around 10-15 hours a week, for two months and have grown really attached to it. It was great "out of the box" and has gotten better and better the more I've used it. Everything... balance, slick shaft, good grip, straight-shooting and the ability to impart spin on the cue ball... has really upped my game. I highly recommend this cue and am increasing my review rating from 4-stars to a SOLID 5-stars. (*PS: I still haven't tried the "extension".)

High quality, sleek design, accurate, functions, comfortable grip, lightweight, great value for the money.

This cue has variables weight but I was not given a chance to choose the weight. They sent me 20 ounce cue. The weight cannot be adjusted. It came with an extension and a very cheep glove no chalk and an extra tip. Composite shaft is perfectly straight, however when the shaft was attached to the butt end there is wobble, small but annoying! I’m going to contact the manufacturer to explore options. Overall it could have been better in attention to detail. This is a Ray Speed cue.

I’ve been playing pool casually for years, and this cue instantly improved my game. The weight is perfectly balanced, the tip has great control, and the grip feels solid without being too sticky. Great craftsmanship for the price. Highly recommend for both beginners and intermediate players.

For the money this cue is excellent. Great feel and excellent deflection. A perfect budget starter pool stick. Lightweight looks great.
