Very small
Perfect for tiny projects! They snap well and are easy to sew on! I used them on baby barbie clothes & they were small enough to work.

Black Sew-On Snaps, Size 3
These are high-quality snaps. They're size 3, so they're fairly large. (At least, they seem quite large to me, since I'm used to working with doll-sized snaps!) Perfect for fastening a book cover, tote bag, purse, coat, jacket---anything that requires a large, sturdy snap. I bought them to use with crocheted neck-warmers, so they would wrap around the neck and stay in place without shifting, or having buttons pop loose. The snaps work quite well for that purpose. These happen to be black snaps, so they're good for use with dark fabrics or materials, especially if you don't want the snaps to be visible. The crocheted neck-warmer I made is dark teal, and I was afraid silver snaps would be too visible, so I opted for black. You get a pack of four snaps, with two halves each (male and female). They're sew-on snaps, which means you'll need a large needle and thread. I recommend using waxed thread, as there's less chance it'll break, or knot and snarl, while you're sewing. (To wax it, pull the thread through a cake of beeswax several times, until it feels a bit like dental floss. Fold the thread into a scrap of muslin and press with a warm iron. This melts the wax, fusing it with the thread.) Be sure to use thread that matches your fabric closely, so it won't be too visible.Very nice product! They don't pop open easily, even under strain. Indeed, it takes some effort to unsnap them. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a sturdy closure for clothing, home decor items, purses or totes, etc.

Just what I needed for a crochet project
Just what I needed for a crochet project. Didn’t feel likely shlubbing to store that may or may not have carried. Price was fine. Good color/finish.

Black Snaps Are Hard to Find
I love the fact that these snaps are BLACK! Black snaps are hard to find. They are great closures for my Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. I love using a black pok-a-dot fabric and black snaps work well. They are sturdy and easy to use. I just wish they were cheaper.

VERY strong snaps.. too much for my little sweater
VERY strong snaps.. too much for my little sweater. These are substantial snaps, and belong on something heavier than the little cardigan I had in mind. If I tried to use these on my little sweater it would soon be pulled way out of shape or even ripped apart. The snaps ,at least now while new, fit together very tightly. I would not count on them to hold my bluejeans together instead of a normal button, but could consider these snaps as an additional security, or temporary replacement. With the force needed to unsnap them, you are going to want to sew them in so they are very secure. Would be good on a coat or tote bag perhaps.

Perfect for my needs.
These were exactly what I needed and they worked great. I knit a little pink cardigan sweater for a little girl and they were perfect for the closures. I got little ones and they were plenty sturdy. Pro tip— don’t drop the individual ones on your carpet. Keep them on the holder until you use them.

Good for lightweight retention, but that's it
These are small (just a hair under 8mm) snaps, pretty interesting ones too, as they are more of a pressure fit than a snap fit, having no discernible bump to lock in the connection. I wanted to use these to hold up some pant cuffs, but I don't think they are secure enough for that, or if they are, I feel like they would lose their grip over time. However, if you were trying to keep something very lightweight in place, that might work. May be more suitable for the lighter materials of ladies clothing than that typically found in mens'.I will certainly keep them, I may find a use for them in the future, and 12x complete sets is worth the $6 to me. Also, they are so small and simple that it is very easy to sew them in place, it took me not five minutes for a test piece. So I would recommend if you need an inconspicuous fixture for some light materials. Otherwise, you probably want something more substantial.

Size 1 snaps are 10mm in diameter
These are well-made buttons with a nice firm snap, but I don't know why the dimensions aren't listed anywhere! The top half of a size 1 snap (which seems to be totally different from size 1/0...) is 10mm in diameter, and the smaller bottom half is 9mm.I bought these to close the necklines of a couple wrap dresses, and they work well for that purpose. I think size 1 is about as small as I could go while still being able to pull the snap apart easily with my fingers.
