I add 3/4 insoles additionally for my flat arches (I do this with all my shoes) and can walk around pain free, all day.StyleShoes were as pictured. I especially appreciated that the vamp comes up high enough that you can't see the toe "pits"Rubbing/blistersI got blisters from the edge of the vamp rubbing on the top of my foot when I first got these shoes. Wearing band aids over the areas rubbed prevented the blisters from worsening, and after a few weeks the flats were worn in enough that no bandaids were needed.I would highly recommend these flats. I got the brown ones first and loved them. I am generally a size 8.5 and got that size in these shoes, and they fit perfectly. No issues breaking them in. I purchased the navy ones in the same size and they run notably narrower/smaller. They absolutely tore my feet up! I would size up for the style with the metal accents. The other issue I’m having, which is causing me to dock a star, is that the leather is peeling on the toe of one of my brown ones after a few months. For the price I’d like them to be sturdier.
