I have one 1/4" tube weaving in line for my hedge....do these work in-line with the 1/4" tubing to spot water exactly where needed??

Yes, they work "in line" because they are pressure compensating. Be aware that they best work between 15 and 35 PSI, secondly @ 30 PSI and 30ft long, a 1/4 in line will have a flow of about 15 to 20 gallon per hour, hence you cannot put 50 drippers on the same 1/4 line (50 x 0.5 GPH = 25 GPH. You are then above the Max flow) If you need long lines of 0.5 GPH, look for "perforated tape @ 0.5 GPH" If you can't find here, ask me for the link. If you have "dirty water" I would then recommend Antelco drippers, because they are cleanable, The RainBird ones are not.I hope it helps Good luck

Now that i have these which way do i install them? if i put the red part into 1/4 tube get drips, black end into tube a stream what is 2gph

2 gph is the flow rate. It stands for 2 gallons per hour. Insert the black pointed tip into your 1/4" tubing, and the water comes out the opening in the red side.

I can't find detailed info on this model on Rainbird's site. What is the appropriate water pressure range for these emitters?

Because of their pressure compensating design, you get the same amount of water using pressure ranges from 15 to 50 psi. Generally speaking, we usually recommend that you use a pressure regulator set at 30 psi in most drip applications where 1/4" tubing and fittings are involved. Excess pressure can cause the smaller fittings to come loose from the main line. Thanks for the question, and if we can be of further assistance, please give us a call 208-336-3747

I see red and green drips 2gph.what is the difference?

Red is GPM, Black is 1 and Blue is 1/2 GPM

desertcart.co.jp: Rain Bird SW20-30PS Drip Irrigation Spot Watering Dripper/Emitter, 2 Gallon Per Hour, 30-Pack : DIY・工具・ガーデン Review: Best simple technology ever! - I LOVE these little drip emitters! So easy to install, and accurate. I have over 30 plants on one 1/2” hose and the drip emitters either right off the main, or into 1/4 inch tubing, set on a timer automatic waterer. It cuts the work, and saves so much water! Where have these been all my life? Planning on doing my whole yard with this system as well as seedling tree lines for our little farm. Work smarter not harder ;) Review: Top zufrieden - Super zuverlässig auch bei längerer Leitung gleichmäßig.

Perfect for controlling how much water each plant receives

We've installed quite a bit of drip irrigation around our property, and adjustable emitters have been one of my favorite parts of the system. I love being able to control how much water goes to each individual plant instead of having the same flow rate throughout an entire landscaping bed. We have a variety of plants, so their watering needs aren't necessarily identical. The emitters have been easy to install and make it much more convenient to customize the irrigation system as we add plants or make adjustments to our landscaping. For anyone installing drip irrigation in flower beds or around shrubs, I highly recommend adjustable emitters. They make the entire system much more flexible and practical.
