Clear dialogue and great value for a home theater
This Sony center channel is a fantastic budget-friendly upgrade. It may not compete with high-end audiophile speakers, but for its price, the vocal clarity is impressive and it balances out my home theater setup perfectly. If you want a significant boost to your movie dialogue without spending a fortune, this is a very strong choice.

Great Product & Outstanding Customer Service
Finally—Just What I Have Been Looking For I could not be more pleased with this center-channel speaker. The previous 4 I tried—some at considerably higher cost—were plagued with those nasty artificial sibilants (boominess/boxiness, exaggerated s’s and z’s, overall “metallic” sound to much dialogue). I now have a center channel speaker with clear, articulate, natural voice production. The overall sound quality is quite good. This speaker is part of my Marantz AVR system with Martin Logan speakers. This SONY center channel speaker has made it all come together just the way I like it. I am quite pleased. Also, super-fast delivery! NOTE: I have also followed a number of general recommendations for best center-channel placement. The first and most important—get it the hell out of your entertainment center stand/cabinet by placing it centrally on its own stand directly in front of the entertainment center with the proper tilt. Take appropriate isolation and reflection steps.

I’m Impressed!
After reading all the reviews I decided to give this center speaker a try. I had an older Deftech Procenter 1000 that needed to be replaced and I was going to get the same speaker again but the Sony went on sale for Prime day for $123 and that was too good of a deal to pass up. I’ve always liked my Procenter for dialogue and full sound but once I listened to the Sony I was pretty amazed at the improvement in clarity and base response! For both movies and music the Sony really impressed me with a fuller richer sound than my old center speaker!

The best speaker!
Sony always makes good product, and this one is no different. From the exquisite packaging, the fine workmanship of the speaker, to the quality sound it delivers, even the small things like the binding posts has so much detail in them. Amazing product! Very impressive!
