Sturdy & easy to use

This appears to be a very robust lock, however it is heavy so not practical to carry around unless you have a back pack. There is a bracket which can be attached to your bike, but i doubt it will secure the lock to the bike and not break. This is ideal if your shed/garage was vulnerable to break-ins, but you would need something to secure this to. It is probably one of the best locks going and the price was pretty good. You also get plenty of keys.

Locking mechanism broke under 3 month of usage and key doesn't open after six month
The lock itself is of good quality and the size of the chain is adequate too. Unfortunately after maybe two months of usage first one of the screw inside the locking mechanism went missing, and after that the whole locking mechanism broke . I am trying to get a replacement under warranty but the company is based in US and the local rep in UK so far hasn't even replied to my email .P.S. if you have a Carrera bike with a square ish frame it will prove a bit difficult to install the locking mechanism on the bike as it doesn't fit where you would normally mount it , I had to mount it on the back next to the tyre where the bike frame has a round shapeP.P.S. after six months key doesn't work any more I almost had to cut the lock to retrieve my bike

Gold rated for Insurance
Good solid product at a great price. Comes with 4 keys, but beware that the flexible cable that comes with the D lock is not gold rated for insurance purposes.
