Works like it's supposed to.
Works exactly like it's supposed to. Nice easy flow. Zero break-in period. Wish it was cheaper to get the good stuff. In terms of ink quality, I like how fast the blue dries. Beautiful color, especially on a yellow legal pad.

Specialty item. Waterman is a top brand but the refill also fits other fine pens. I have a high end other brand that uses this refill and I find it great.

Rough!
For a high end cartridge, it doesnโt write like one. Very rough, itโs not a smooth writing cartridge.

WET!
This rollerball drools. It says it's a fine, but it leaves a trail of darkness wherever it goes. Put into a decent Waterman pen, this refill writes smoothly, consistently and very wet. I'd say it's the opposite of a Mont Blanc in that regard, though I consider them both excellent. When I want my writing to make a strong impression before the words even come into view, I'll go for the Waterman.

Best for maintenance filing or small dogs
Pros: quiet, rechargeable, lightweight Cons: not very powerful, charge doesn't last long, can't tell when fully charged Bought to use on my English bulldog. His nails were quite long. Maybe works best as a touch up type instead of working from any length. Took several 20 min sessions to get his nails to a length where I wouldn't hear them on the wood floors. I could only do about 1 or 2 nails with each charge. Would be fine for a cat or a chihuahua but not for a dog who has thick nails. Unless the nails are already short and you use once a week for maintenance filings.
