This is the perfect blanket for a toddler still in a toddler bed. I looked everywhere for a blanket the right size; all the baby blankets seemed to be around 30x40 (way too small for my giant 38" daughter) and the next blanket size I could easily find was twin at 60x90, which I worried she'd get all tangled up in. This is right in between at 59.5x47. The weight is light, but since we are in Florida I consider that a feature, not a flaw. I washed it, dried it, and handed it to her warm; she used it to snuggle up with dad on the couch, then dragged it off to bed with her. I actually liked the way the border looked when the blanket came out of the dryer, it reminded me of the way a quilt looks and feels. It is so soft! Success! I just wish it had been easier to find and that I'd gotten it sooner. -D

a little too high maintenance
I love this brand and swear by their muslin wraps. This blanket is comprable in quality and softness but after the first wash the edges required ironing. Not a big deal, but I hate ironing. Otherwise, it holds up well and is sooo soft.

Great blanket, not so soft trim
Very nice baby blanket, I bought the bassinet version. It is extremely soft and has a great weight to it. I wasn't very impressed with the trim, its basically a cotton but compared to the bamboo it doesn't feel soft. I quickly took off the original trim and replaced it with a nice soft jersey knit.

Excellent
I've been using quite a few Little Bamboos products since my baby was born in June, 2011. I love the quaily and simple design. I've purchased this blanket for her daycare. I wanted a white one so that I could see any stain (blood, pee, food, etc.) made at the daycare for my baby's safety. We're already using Little Bamboos Airflow Basinnet blanket since she was born. I didn't read the description well. This was not an airflow blanket. But, it has woven texture and satin trims. It's so beautiful. I wash it every week. It looks fine and feels soft even after many washes. The blanket is substantial, so it takes a while to dry.
