I have little to no experience with bungee cord / shock cord. I needed this to create a Stuffed Animal zoo (picture the ball holders at Walmart/Target but for Stuffed Animals). For my intended purposes, this worked great. It had plenty of stretch from what I can tell, was easy to work with, and quality (outside sleeve & core) looked good and consistent throughout the whole reel I had.

I've had shock cord where the rubber slips out of the cloth sleeve, and this is not one of those. The most durable cord I've used. One example I've done so far is to secure a heavy ladder to the wall at tension. Slipping in and out of my drill press-made lock has not caused any fraying after 20+ uses. I highly recommend Sgt.
