They came out ok - a bit softer and smaller but cleaner. **Q: Will these stop burning yourself. On the oven shelf.** A: I use them for gardening and they’re brilliant, though they’re not designed for this I would imagine they would give you protection from your domestic oven shelves as they’re quite thick. **Q: Would these be any good for archery?** A: An interesting question! They’d certainly be better than nothing, and very comfortable to wear. I’ve just worn mine for the best part of six hours, working in a dense thicket, lopping branches, and all manner of thorny whips. I also wear them when working in the engine bay of my car, and other difficult to access spaces. They reduce bruising to some extent, but they do a very good job in preventing abrasions. **Q: Can anyone confirm whether these are actually level 5 slash resistant to knives?** A: I wouldn't try if I were you ...!
