I found the clips to be very sufficient for use in some locations but I'm an old school drywall repair guy who still will use wood to support majority of nailing locations.

These are such a clever product. They are easy to use, high quality, and makes patching / repairing holes in drywall much easier than cutting wood strips and finagling them into position to patch.

This is exactly what I was looking for, the big box stores do not carry a kit like this any more. I was able to patch a hole in the hole from an outlet that was moved. This made the job easy to place a piece of drywall in the hole.

Will only work on a Sheetrock cut with no obstructions behind. Holes meant to be screwed into holes in plate are too small to start the screw if you can find it and strength enough in your hand to hold the plate in place while you locate a hole and screw into a hole.
