Il libro è a colori ed è molto ricco di figure ed illustrazioni. Completamente in lingua inglese insegna le scienze a bambini della scuola primaria in modo divertente ed appassionante. Nelle ultime pagine c'è un utile vocabolario monolingua per meglio comprendere le parole più difficili. All'interno della copertina vi è un codice grazie al quale si può aver accesso per un anno allo stesso libro in formato digitale inserendolo sul sito cambridge.com. E' affiancato dal Cambridge Primary science workbook 4 venduto separatamente, che contiene esercizi pratici per meglio comprendere quanto studiato. Anche quest' ultimo all'interno della copertina ha un codice grazie al quale si può aver accesso per un anno allo stesso libro in formato digitale.
