Amazing, this gadget worked really well for me. Yes it burns very hot and it does sting but after using one treatment the bite does not irritate, itch or swell up at all. It basically neutralises the bite totally. Far more effective than creams. I also went for the model which had the light which was really helpful in pinpointing where to place the machine over the bite.

On holiday in Tenerife i was bitten on the leg i suffered a bite which was sore and itchy. Another holidaymaker noticed me complaining and produced this marvellous item. I applied it once to my injury and within an hour the itching had almost disappeared. I’ve bought two one for myself and the other for my daughter.So easy to use. Well worth the money. Better than all the creams that are available

This product works amazingly well. I bought it for my wife for a trip to Turkey as she always has problems with the mozzies. I am so glad I did as it was my turn to be the main course. This device took the itch out of a dozen nasty bites. The machines outputs an uncomheat on the skin but it doesn't burn or hurt. The affect on the bite is immediate and the itching stops instantly. You may have to use it a few times a day but it's worth it. Tip; if you use the devise as soon as you realise you've been bitten, then you won't have to repeatedly use it as much. This would gave got 5 stars (I'd give it 10) if the build quality was better. Very light weight and flimsy. Take care when changing the battery as mine fell apart.

This has been a game changer for me...I developed urticaria after having previously had insect bites. I tried 14 different creams, lotions and sprays plus medications from the doctor. This gadget is the only thing that ensures I can get a good nights sleep free from itching. A sharp pain but over quickly and instant relief from the irritation. You just need someone to do your back! I have now been using this before the bite develops -at first itch and it seems to nip them in the bud. As is is a condition that come back again and again I will continue using it.

Absolutely recommend this product. I was bitten at home quite badly and it was swollen around the bites. I was looking for a no drug alternative for healing and found this. The bites healed within days and no itching. I appear to be super tasty to all biting stinging things and have since been bitten away in Cyprus. I’m so glad so brought this with us. It works brilliantly. It does sting/burn towards the end of the time using but it’s absolutely bearable and my 10 year old son delights using it on me. Super easy to use. Can’t recommend it enough. Fab product.

I think the product is faulty as it will only do 4 three second treatments before requiring new batteries. I think it needs replacing but Amazon, surprisingly, offer very little support for this product. That said, The Beurer Insect Bite Healer is great for treating bites. It is painful to use but results in bites being much less annoying. I would buy another and hope that the next is not faulty!!

So I purchased this after reading that it may help stop cold sores in it's tracks if caught early enough in the tingling period. I've suffered pretty badly with the Herpes virus for years, and the majority of creams and lotions don't really do anything apart from numb the pain. When I had heard about this device, I was excited to give it a try. It is a small black, rounded edge device which is easy to hold and use. It comes with 2 x batteries in the box and an instruction manual. It has a little switch on the side for the power and the light, then a round button on the front. You put the device directly onto the area then click the round button once for a 3 second heat zap (sensitive skin), or twice for a 6 second heat zap. It gets quite hot but nothing completely unbearable for me. I then cleaned it and put it away. What do you know, it stopped it in it's tracks! The tingling was instantly stopped and I was just left with a slightly red area where the heat had been applied. I went about my normal day and when I woke up the next morning, there was no sign of it even there! This is a fantastic value device and I'm thrilled to have finally found something that works! Make sure that you invest in some antibacterial wipes to keep it clean and sanitised. Update: A good few months down the line and I still haven't had a full-blown cold sore! This really is a miracle device for me!

Regrettably this product didn't work for us, it gave us a quite a bit of pain when administering on the 3 second mode, the pain area throbbed for a minute or two, then subsided back to the original pain level, at no point was the pain level less than it original was.

J’étais un peu sceptique à l’achat, mais je ne regrette pas. Dès qu’on sens la piqûre d’insecte, ou qu’une piqûre précédente vous démange, appliquer le produit sur la peau et vous sentirez le soulagement immédiat de ce petit appareil. J’ai l’habitude de faire des réactions allergiques au piqûre de moustique, et la, plus rien. Plus d’urticaire, plus de grosse bosses, le pied !

I was skeptical at first because all the sources on the biological action involved for the relief effects were commercial or commercial-sponsored sources. But I thought I'd give it a go and have been really pleased with the benefit. As a person who is prone to scratching itches from insect bites, this device has made a real difference in bringing comfort and practically eliminating my need to scratch. The light could be better as it doesn't much help with identifying the spot you're bitten. I think this leaves room for a better design but I'd rather have the light than not at all.

A satisfying feeling when using it, however the claims that it really helps is a bit far out. Unfortunately it doesn't work well for me at all, and I can't send it back because it is a "medical device". Rather use old wives tale methods of sorting out itchy bites. This thing is really pretty useless.
