I wasn’t sure if this would be a good option but I gave it a shot. You have no idea how sturdy this thing is. I highly recommend it and easy 5 stars. It’s easy to use and take off to wash, all you have to do is pop the pin at the top and you can remove the inner part to wash it. Easy to use, size as described , quick release mechanism, elegant design and cut through ice cream like butter.

This scoop feels much sturdier than the cheap ones I’ve used before. The trigger release works smoothly, and it makes evenly sized cookies so much easier when baking. I’ve also used it for muffin batter and even scooping melon, so it’s surprisingly versatile. The handle is comfortable to hold and doesn’t strain my hand, even with thicker doughs. Definitely one of those simple kitchen tools that ends up getting used all the time.

Perfect for my cookie baking needs. I'm terrible with eyeballing portions, so this makes it way easier. Husband was skeptical the part that scrapes the back would actually work (he claims they never do), but I've used this scoop to make 3 different batches of cookies and it hasn't failed me yet. Very easy to clean, though I always hand wash it, so I can't comment if the dishwasher will ruin it, but it still looks brand new for me. It does hurt my hand a little after making so many cookies, but I think that's more of my hands being weak than it being too stiff. Overall, good purchase. If, for whatever reason, I needed a different size, I would definitely choose this brand again.
