It works well to warm coffee in but you cannot warm food up because plates do not turn or do popcorn it’s really small I was not aware how small it was

I bought this microwave on the fly. My old one just stopped working and I needed it right away. It works ok. Just 2 things I don't like. The door locks! This feature is great if you have children, but a pain if it's just you. My biggest problem with it is that it's 700watts. I should have bought 1100 watt.

I ordered the microwave for a small rental house. Purchase it in April while remodeling. It did not go into use until mid June. It worked fine for approximately 6 weeks. One morning upon opening the door, the entire inside door panel pulled off and latches would not close or catch. I couldn’t see anyway to fix it so I contacted the manufacture through Amazon as the return time had expired. The manufacturer never contacted me back. Thankfully Amazon did remedy the situation. Customer service through Emerson was nonexistent. I do not recommend this product.

It is smaller than what I had but getting use to it. Doesn’t heat up items like my other one but it was larger. For just me this one works just fine. For a larger family this would not be wise. But like it and the safety lock feature is great. I also like when the beep goes off that after a few seconds later another beeper lets you know that you still have something in the microwave. This helps me out as sometimes I forget. Would recommend to those wanting to down size.

Although it is small, I can use for everything.

NEED A GREAT OFFICE MICROWAVE? This is the one! Quiet. Roomy for the size. Cooks just like my Family size at home. Plugs in anywhere. NO complaints.

A useful and dependable microwave. This is the third one we have bought over the years, the last one in 2019. They last about 6 years and that's with a lot of daily use. I have noticed the latest version is a tiny bit smaller on the outside and a little quieter. It's nice to see that Emerson has continued to improve an older product. The price is still great too. This microwave does everything a basic microwave should do and does it well. I think it punches a little above its weight and is a real bargain. They have added a child safety lock, but we don't have children, so we haven't tried it. We use it mostly for sides, frozen dinners, and leftovers. Be aware that, being a smallish model, it will not fit the largest of plates. It will cook an individual frozen entree in 6 or 7 minutes, a bowl of instant oatmeal in 2, and at 700 watts you shouldn't have to worry about tripping a circuit breaker. It comes with the usual rotating platter that can be removed for cleaning. The basic controls are easy to use, 1 - 6 minutes just by pressing the corresponding number and also has a thirty second setting when you only press start. It's a good machine.
